-ÀÌ¿¡¿ä/¿¹¿ä (the Polite style) and -ÀÔ´Ï´Ù/¤²´Ï´Ù (the Deferential
style): equational expressions (Integrated Korean:
Beginning 1, G1.1)
Attached to a noun, they indicate an equation between two concepts,
that is, N1=N2.
In identifying their name, the speakers in the above dialogue omit
the first concept (N1), an expression referring to themselves,
which is very common in Korean.
-ÀÌ¿¡¿ä and -ÀÔ´Ï´Ù are used after a consonant, and -¿¹¿ä and
-¤²´Ï´Ù is used after a vowel.
